We are pleased to announce that Neil Male has been appointed as the new Chair of trustees of The Kaleidoscope Plus Group and will be starting with immediate effect. Neil will be taking over from Chris Mills who has served as the Chair of trustees for three years.
Neil, who has been a non-executive director with the charity for three years, is recognised as a transformational business leader in the Midlands.
On his recent appointment, Neil said: “I feel thrilled and honoured to be asked to step into this role. Kaleidoscope’s vision and values are in synergy with those of both myself and the companies I represent and I look forward to utilising my business knowledge, skills and contacts to helping the Kaleidoscope Plus Group develop and grow.
“Chris will be a tough act to follow. I want to thank him for the contributions he has made to the charity over the last three years in his role as chair and I am delighted to say that I will be able to continue working with him as he will remain with the charity as a non-executive director.”
Monica Shafaq, CEO of the Kaleidoscope Plus Group, said: “I would like to thank Chris for his time as Chair of trustees. His support, guidance and passion were unwavering and felt by all at KPG. Neil’s tenure as Chair comes at an exciting and challenging time for charities. Mental health struggles are at an all-time high and I have no doubt that his wide range of skills, experience and leadership will make an invaluable difference.”
